My co-gardener, Maria, and I went shopping. Here are photos of our new additions and of the flowers already in the garden.

The Crown Flower, oregano in right hand margin, Rosemary in upper left corner, and Gerbera “Daisies” (according to the tag in the pots when I purchased them two or three years ago) continue thriving in my garden, perhaps in spite of me.

The basil plants in background have survived trimming and transplanting; hopefully they will bloom prodigiously again. The zinnias on the left in the upper photo and the purple blossoms next to them have already attracted honeybees. In the lower photo are three new plants. Bringing bees and butterflies to the garden is my primary goal.
