“No Dictators” March, Honolulu

Here are some photos of the “No Dictators” March, Wethe title of which we have altered in respect to the historical reality that Hawai’i was once an independent kingdom and many Native Hawaiians have a strong loyalty to the culture and history of that kingdom.

The rally was scheduled for the Capitol Building on Beretania Street, which parallels King Street a block to the left of this image, but a bomb threat forced us to move our rally to gather along King Street.

All of the photos I took are in front of the Hawaii State Library. It faces King Street, away from the Capitol building where the rally was originally scheduled to take place.
